A full day's board is charged for the day of arrival and the day of departure to allow for essential disinfecting and preparation of the chalet.
Payment of boarding fees will need to be made choosing one of the following two options. Firstly you can pay by cheque when you leave your cat at the beginning of its stay with us, alternatively you can pay in cash when you come to collect your cat. In the case of long-term boarders, accounts are to be paid monthly.
In the event of owners returning before the end of the period for which the cat is booked, the full period will be charged.
At Christmas, New Year and Easter the minimum fee will be the equivalent of 5 days boarding.
For stays of an indefinite duration, 21 days notice of departure is required between April 1st and September 30th.
Definite bookings should be made as early as possible. Just give us a call and we will forward you a booking form asking for your cats details, names, age, sex, likes and dislikes and details of the cats' normal diet, including any special dietary requirements.
If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days notice, a cancellation fee will be charged.
A collection and drop off service can be arranged if required.
Any cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease will not be accepted for boarding. All cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary surgeon. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all the cats boarded.
Veterinary attendance is assured (should this prove to be necessary ) and any treatment prescribed by a veterinary surgeon can be continued during a cat's stay. We use our local vet, West Mount who have looked after our own pets for the last five years.
Male cats over the age of 7 months MUST BE NEUTERED before being allowed to board, mainly because they present an infection hazard.
All cats MUST be immunized against Feline Infectious Enteritis, Upper Respiratory Infections (Cat Flu) and ideally Feline Leukaemia. Owners MUST produce an up to date inoculation certificate on arrival.
Discounted rates are available should you wish to board more than one cat, please ask about our price list.
